Independent film making today is the epitome of fine art.
The move from analog film to digital over the last several years has escalated quickly because of the pandemic. Many theatres have closed and will never return, meanwhile, VOD and streaming have leapt to the forefront and are reinventing the cinematic experience.
In the coming years, post pandemic, theatres will fight and claw their way back, but the reality is that they will never return to where they were yesterday … they’ll be better.
The difference will be that the theatre experience will happen even less often than it does today, but when you do GO TO THE SHOW, it will be an event befitting a Hollywood Blockbuster.
Popcorn will still cost more than the ticket, but you’ll also be able to order champagne at your seat. Even better, when the audience reacts emotionally to a scene, you’ll feel it enmass – which always was the whole idea.
