CINEMA was … pre-covid, the most common reference we had for film, even though we went digital more than a decade ago. Today, as the pandemic plays out, many theatres around the world have already taken their last curtain. It’s not all bad though, because it means the cinematic industry is being reinvented.
The world has evolved to DIGITAL on almost every level.
Over the last two hundred years, STILL PHOTOGRAPHY grew from tintype plates and film, to digital on BLOCKCHAIN.
FILM, as it applies to still photography, is fading fast.
DIGITAL is also the new art ride of choice for cinema …
VR isn’t as strange anymore … although biking on VR is weird!
There still are some amazing photographic artists working in film, but the companies that manufacture film are trimming their product list considerably and making it harder for photo artists who claim it as their medium of choice.
