I’m in Ontario for a couple of weeks on business and pleasure, and had a chance to check out the Alton Mill Fire & Ice Festival.
What a great location and fun time for art lovers throughout the day and evening.
Several incredible artists at Alton Mill have permanent studios inside, and this weekend, ice sculptors are also outside chipping away and carving beautiful works of art. You can see the full roster of exciting art events at Alton Mill.
I’m visiting my son and his family, and a new grandchild for me, Fionndly.
They live right across the road from the Mill so we’ve been poking around at the festival for the last couple of days. Fionn loves the colourful art and the activities and noise of the crowds inside and out.
Me too!
Alton Mill, near Toronto in the Caledon area, is a great gallery to visit at any time of year. It’s very easy to fall in love with the friendly artists, and their art.
Alton Mill Arts Centre also offers lessons for all styles of artist.
